Can I actually be held liable without acknowledging I was the driver. I was proposing I go down the route of I was not driving the car at the time. Is it down to them to prove i was driving (which would be impossible) as my understanding is they have to prove it was me otherwise they have to pursue the registered keeper which is now out of time frames for them to do so?0

they can try to use the "law of agency" and "probability" to infer that the keeper and driver were one and the same person
unless you refute that claim, they can ask a judge to presume that you are liable as keeper for the claim , by 51% to 49% (so similar to Br***t)
a KEEPER can try to use POFA 2012 to wriggle out of it , even more so if they are DEFINITELY NOT THE DRIVER0 -
OK Jodcon2006, I'll leave you to it.
You clearly don't want to answer the question I asked on 4th March and again on 14th March.
Good luck.0
