RE: Appeals - Parking restrictions not visible complaint

Hi,
After some advice please anyone. On the 13th November 2019 I parked at a station and used my blue badge on double yellow lines, which i thought I was allowed to do for up to 3 hours. I returned to find a ticket which stated " code 11 - Parked on double yellows with kerb blips?" I looked and there were no kerb blips, I appealed and it was refused but for the reasoning's "Parked on yellow lines or cross-hatched area". To me that is a different reason to what they stated on the ticket and I told them that, however they said it means the same thing. I returned to the station and I could see nothing clear on the board about Blue Badge holders no parking on double yellows? I have tried many times by email to contact Indigo and they take weeks to reply.
Anyway I now have a letter from the Debt Recovery Prosecution Service in Portsmouth, demanding £100, this will now be £165 as I have realised today the 14 days has passed. Do i ignore it or cave and pay? I don't want this affecting my credit, but feel i shouldn't have to pay the fine. I have sent god knows how many emails trying to resolve this. Think i have had 3 replies.
I have heard after 6 months they can't do anything? Is that correct? Do i reply and try to dray it out until May?
All advice welcome.

Ignore it. It does indeed time out after 6 months and the only power they have is to send scary letters.0

did you receive either a POPLa code or an ITAL appeal code when you appealed ?0
-
I did ask for a POPLA code and got the reply:
"As per an announcement from the British Parking Association on 20th September 2017, it is no longer a requirement for Saba (formally Indigo) to offer an independent appeal via POPLA. This is following a review of the clarity of the Clauses in Railway Byelaws by the BPA and the Government."0 -
You don't need urgent advice, you just ignore them like everyone else.
No need for any threads about Indigo railway cases. All the same. Nothing happens.
Put INDIGO into the 'search this forum' drop down box...and you will see these time out after 6 months...fizzle out to nothing.
P.S. In general, don't assume DYL on private land mean the same as Council on street.
P.P.S. REMOVE Indigo's ref from this thread title! Yes, you can edit it , advanced edit.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This is following a review of the clarity of the Clauses in Railway Byelaws by the BPA and the Government. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

looks like they have dragged in Debt Recovery Prosecution Service in Portsmouth, this is not good , possibly because you named yourself as driver
as stated above this would time out at 26 weeks and you are now on about 16
I think you need to reply to Debt Recovery Prosecution Service , and start asking questions , hopefully after question time , thew timer will have stopped ticking0 -
