Beside myself with worry. AM parking

Hi,
27/12/18 - I dropped my two children off at my ex husband's flat.
It is private property monitored by AM parking. He refuses to give me a permit. So rather than take a resident's space, I park at the corner of the car park in an unmarked area (causing no obstruction whatsover) for the 5 minutes that it takes to drop the children off.
I came back and I had a ticket.
22/02/19 I appealed to AM parking following money supermarket template and said I was the keeper of the vehicle.
1/-3/19 AM write to advise my appeal has been rejected and I have the popla code.
My ex refuses to give me a copy of his tenancy agreement to show that I was visiting him briefly.
Do I need to accept the fine, which is going to tip me financially over the edge? Or is it worth appealing to popla?
Many thanks

Appeal to POPLA. Sadly the MSE "official" template is absolutely useless. At the top of this board is a thread that tells Newbies to read it first.
That thread has links to proper templates. You need to scroll down and see the section about POPLA appeals.0 -
Edit your post to remove information about who was dropping off children/parked.
I presume you mean AM Parking Services. Please confirm as many parking scammers have similar initials to others so we need to be sure we are dealing with the correct scammer.
What did you put in the original appeal. I have never seen a moneysupermarket parking appeal (or did you mean moneysavingexpert?)
Construct a draft PoPLA appeal using all the template points available to you from post 3 of the NEWBIES. Post it here for checking before you submit it.
State in your appeal that the scammers are not the landowners and the residents' lease/AST does not permit ticketing of visitors and thus has primacy of contract over a third party scammers made up parking terms. Tell them the scammers must prove the contrary.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Yes AM Parking services
I meant money saving expert template as per advice.
Still rejected
I feel utterly bleak.
I do appreciate your responses though, thank you.
There is no hope, is there?0 -

Yes if you follow the advice in the Newbies Thread you stand a very good chance of winning.0 -
That would be find the signs, read them, understand them, decide you don't like the T &C's & leave within the grace period.Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0

So no idea why the normal, expected rejection letter has left you so despondent.
Ignore them and only come back here if you get a claim to defend (not scary).
BTW tell that *!*!*!* ex-husband, that if he is going to expect you to drop the kids off to his flat, he MUST meet you at the entrance to collect the kids, or outside on street where it is safe.
Or he MUST give you a visitor permit in advance, or you won't be dropping them off and he will have to come & get them himself.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just like the vast majority of initial appeals. The whole point of an appeal to a BPA member is to get a PoPLA code. You have one, so use it.
Grace periods alone should win, but there are a whole raft of other points for you to use as already advised.
If you never received a NTK, then you have another winning appeal point.
Is there any reason why you have ignored the advice to edit your post? Parking scammers read these fora and have been known to use information from here against motorists.I married my cousin. Oh good!
I was thinking AM Parking were on the dark side.
Easy enough then, sounds like this poster hasn't got a Notice to Keeper and didn't say who was driving.
An easy win at POPLA if she words it properly. Already past day 56.
'No NTK served by day 56' is one of the template appeal points in the NEWBIES thread post #3, all about POPLA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

They have confirmed no information re entry or exit time
So I can just say I drove in and drive out?
But photos show stationary and I am not in car?
As to why so worried. Single parent. Young children. Very very tight finances. No support network0
