It looks like it may be the supplier we need to change to for our electricity switch.

But I’d like to hear from other BULB users to know what they think first.

Currency we are with Sainsbury’s and we used 6629.06 kWh on standard variable tariff in a year.
Single fuel, we have no gas here.
Monthly DIrect Debit.
No exit fee.
Total costs £1287.88
They say next year same usage will cost us £1218.86

Surely most people don’t pay that much? Or am I still living in the past?!

(Info below added from post 3 to give readers all information available)

3 bedroom terraced house.
We have a coal fire.
No central heating.
We have 4 supplemental electric heaters around the house for really cold days heat boost.

Tumble dryer used to finish drying after line drying, not for wet washing.

Do you have ( expensive ) electric heating ??

Bulb have only one tariff, unlike other suppliers who have more tariffs than the supermarket has choices of beans. My tariff rates are
    Electricity Unit Rate
    13.71p per kWh
    Electricity Standing Charge
    20.44p per day
    Gas Unit Rate
    3.59p per kWh
    Gas Standing Charge
    20.44p per day
I don't know if they vary around the country.
Someone please tell me what money is

Bulb are very good, in my opinion. Good communications and easy to change your DD if you so wish. Tariff can change depending on gas/elec prices but mine has not varied much. Always remind me to enter meter readings before they make up the bill.

Try putting your consumption into a comparison site - you might get a better tariff but not necessarily better service.

I pay 11.5p/kwh and 22p/day for my 7000kwh a year with Eversmart. They wereen't ever so good in the beginning but so far (fingers crossed) they've been OK. It's fixed until August this year when I suspect there'll be a really big increase in prices.

I'm with Bulb and very impressed.
Their communication is great and very simple.
They have one tariff and their electricity is from 100% renewable sources.
If wholesale energy prices are reduced they reduce their prices.

They are the cheapest for me. The phone app isn't great compared to some but it's functional. They remind you to submit readings but only give a day or two but that's fine.

Decent service so far so can't complain.

I'm with bulb and the referral codes are great for getting some money back. Communication is spot on. They are not fixed term prices, so you have to take that into account.
