Just edited the title to read correctly.

Yeah ive read a lot but dnt understand a lot of it tbh, very confusing to a person of average intelligence. Probably best just payin it and taking more care in the future. Thx anyway

I pointed you only to read the bit about ParkingEye LBCCCs, which involves:

    - complaining to the retailer/landowner

    - emailing the P/Eye email with anything you should have said at appeal stage.

Difficult to understand? No. What were you reading? All the rest?

Surely worth an email to the Head Office of a retailer, for example Morrisons cancel these within 48 hours usually!

Will try that then thanks. I just thought that they were rigid regarding these charges.

You haven't said which retailer or other site? Some are EASY to cancel.

It's counter intuitive but launching a claim is a whole lot more work than simply sending scary letters and inflating the fee by imaginary amounts. The imaginary amounts won't stand up in court and they know it.

Whilst defending does involve a bit of work it does put you in a stronger position even if you really, really can't face seeing it through.

Not only that it keeps your options open. Some posters have been ready to throw the towel in only to realise they have a really strong case and win it.

You what? You know what a retailer is. Is the location a retail site, or what?

Asda, Morrisons, Aldi (or similar), or was it at a hospital, hotel, or large multi store retail car park?

It was a shopping centre car park managed by Parking Eye. I rang the shopping centre manager explaining the situation and he said that there was nothing he could do regarding getting the ticket cancelled.
