Bit of advice please

Hi, wondered if someone can clear this up for me. On the 23rd of Feb my partner and myself went and chose some bathroom tiles from in store. Paid in full on debit card and was told as they didn't have them in it would be a couple of days before I could collect, not a problem. Next day they phoned and said their supplier was out of stock and it would be 2 weeks. Not a problem either as work was not due to be started for 2 weeks. Bathroom fitter came round and told me he'd only be able to fit me in this week. About 10 days before tiles were due. I rang tile store and tried to cancel. They weren't happy and tried to tell me it was a special order and they'd had to order a full pallet for my 30 tiles (I think they were fibbing). Also they said why can't I choose another tile. Partner didn't want that. Plumber had recommended shower panels. So we'd changed our mind. Anyway, I'd just like to know my rights if anyone can help? The tiles were only £110 so I don't know why they just don't want to refund. Going back through to store soon. Would just like to be sure on where I stand. Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately you don't have any statutory rights to cancel an in-store purchase.
You agreed to the 2-weeks wait - you would have had the chance to cancel at this point, but not once you'd agreed to wait for them.0 -
Obviously not the answer I was hoping for. Thanks anyway.0
