The Lifepoints website is shockingly bad since the move from GTM. I can't get into my account at all now, and I've emailed their 'helpdesk' 3 times, messaged them on Facebook and posted on their Facebook page, and they've ignored me every time. I'd just ditch them altogether if it wasn't for the fact they owe me money!!
Debt free and staying that way!

I'm so glad I found this thread as have been tearing my hair out since GTM became Life Points and had been wondering how many others felt the same. I only started with survey sites at the beggning of this year (literally 1st Jan, I signed up for several different ones). GTM very quickly stood out for me as the best survey site I had joined. Unlike some other people, I found it very clear which surveys were for points or just raffle entries, and was easily able to maximise points by only taking those surveys. Yes, screen outs would happen but usually within the first few questions and I didn't really mind this as felt I hadn't wasted much time and could go on to the next.

By 31st Jan (one full month), I had enough points for a £35 paypal payment, which i was very impressed with, as was way above any of the other survey sites i was using. Since the change to Life Points however, it has been a different storey completely. I find i am getting way more screen outs, after answering lots of questions, sometimes after 5 or 10 mintues, when it would apprear i have been accepted into the survey. The 2 points awarded for some screen outs (not consistent for all) are measly, and i think they need to up this. One Opionion for example gives 50 points per screen out, which feels more of a compensation for the time spent.

A few days ago i had completed a survey (about 15 mins) and got to the end screen confirming my completion of the survey and to click the end button to get my points. When i did so it took me back to the Life Points site and the 2 point screen out page, despite me clearly having completed the survey. I was miffed to say the least. As others have said, i also find it way too slow, and impossible to track i am being credited with the correct points. I'm now waiting to get enough points for the lowest paypal payment, after which i'm probably not going to bother any more.

Well at last their site is a lot quicker and you can access surveys from e'mail link, but if you do that you do not know the survey No: so if points are not credited tough, as they will not look into it unless you have a No: Am now finding I am getting screened out more and 2points are not always being added, before always got entered into a prize draw, not that I ever won that. Still getting the stupid questions plus the hitting two different letters on keyboard to answer questions not relevant to the surveys. Will wait and see how it goes. Heard from a friend that although mysurvey is now quicker 2 pts are not being added at all for screen outs, their IT dept. has always been pathetic.

Roseyposey, if you go into your survey history and hover your cursor over the surveys you are completing but not getting full points, you can click on it and it will take you to a page where you can state the problems you have had with the surveys.

I've come to Lifepoints from My Survey, and it's an improved service over what it was.... which was shocking!!

Happy to at least get 2 points for trying, up to max 10 per day, so only 55 days to get a £5 voucher!!!;);)
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)
  • I've been struggling to maintain enthusiasm for Global Test Market for a couple of years, the constant screen outs, the stupid "have you got a moose" questions, but have been getting enough out of them to make it feel worthwhile.

Since they've changed the website it takes an age to log in, the screen outs are even more regular although they seem to wait until I'm further through before deciding whether to give me 2 points or not, dozens of emails every day (as previous post), it's now a really slow, clunky, and utterly dispiriting experience. I can't quite bring myself to close my account, even though I've only a few points and nothing outstanding, but the emails just get deleted daily rather than encouraging me to log in.
