Potential Leak - but where???

    Hi,

    It does seem that there is a significant leak n the system pipework somewhere, if you really have no idea where it is the next step is to pressurise the system to 2 bar and run the central heating flat out, if you can do this when the house is quiet chances are that you will hear the leak.
    Personally I would check the new pipework where the old cylinder was removed and particularly the side of the chimney breast where the back boiler pipework and pump usually live, a leak here may not be that noticable as its normally behind an access panel, start with the modified bits first.
