Hi,
Looking to have a couple of days ending up at the balloon festival on the Thursday. Need to take the car due to travelling elsewhere afterwards, so was looking for somewhere with free or cheap parking.
Going with 80 year old parent so although we would happily use public transport while there if we're a bit out of the centre, we need somewhere that she can get around to the main touristy bits without silly amounts of walking. We'll try to book the parking for the festival itself, so getting to that shouldn't be an issue.
Any suggestions appreciated.

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Have stayed at the Bristol Marriott Hotel City Centre, which is at the edge of the town centre, they have a car park next to it, think its an NCP, and I think we got that free with our booking, it is a short walk to the main centre from there though so may not be ideal.
There is 24 hour parking at £16.00 a day here https://www.millenniumsquarecarpark.co.uk/ so you could use that and then any of the hotels around the Harbour area would be close by, if you are only staying for a day or two that might be better... there are about a dozen hotels to choose from there, from Premier Inns, Travelodges to whatever, and then you are in the centre of most things.
Have also stayed at the Radison Blu at Broad Quay, which isn't far from that car park, they do offer a valet parking service but I think its something like £30 a day.0
