Radeon Settings in Task Manager

Over the past couple of weeks, just after starting up my PC (desktop), the cursor kind of freezes and then I get the AMD Radeon icon appear, then go away.
The PC seems to have been running slower as well.
I have run Norton a few times and nothing amiss has been found.
However, today I have just gone into Task Manager, and looking down the list I have between twenty five and thirty entries for Radeon Settings each taking up between 27 to 35MB's of memory.
This doesn't seem right and doing a quick search shows that I am not alone.
Is this a fault and if so, how do I rectify it?
Thanks.

Roll back the driver and see if that helps.
Do you have the video card tweaking software running, unsinstall that.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Thanks for the advice, but I am not very techy where the hardware side is concerned, so that has kind of gone right over my head:D0
