Cheque for business account

Hello everyone,
NatWest closed my business account for my ltd company and sent me a cheque of what's left in the account. I am also looking to close down my ltd. company in the near future for this reason I don't want to open a new business account.
My problem is: I have a cheque addressed to my business and I don't have a business account to put it into. NatWest is refusing to issue the check to me in person.
Can you offer me some advice as to what to do with that cheque? Is there a way to deposit that cheque without opening a new business account. By the way, I still have paypal for my business account.

It is confusing but if the cheque is made payable to the Ltd company you are stuffed. Why should they make it out to anybody else?
Nat West would only close the account under 3 circumstances -1 You asked them to 2 The company has been struck off or 3 The company was insolvent - which was it?0 -
If the ltd co is still not yet closed you need to open another account, cash it and then close it.
If the ltd co is now closed you can ask companies house to reinstate it.

If you don't figure it out the funds will eventually go to the crown0
