Yet another sharp practice by credit card company

I have just stumbled across a great scam by a cc company. Having had a few problems I can only pay minimum at the moment but pay on time every month and do not use the card. On their on-line payment service which I always use they pre-fill the minimum payment box and this is what I use to pay. However I now realise - and OK am not that good with money -this only reduces the total to the credit limit and when interest and any charges are added you exceed the limit every month, for which - guess what - they charge you. I do not normally bother to check paper statements but having now done so they show a different -and bigger -minimum payment entirely. I have written to complain -watch this space. Anyone else noticed this?
