Balance transfer from AMEX but poor credit

I am in a bit of a pickle... I have not so great credit and I would like to balance transfer my debt (£900) from my AMEX to a new card at 0%, however with the rating I have I am having trouble getting accepted. Fluid, Aqua and the usual low rating ones with accept me but they do not accept transfer from AMEX, I phoned each one just in case! Santander, Bank of Scotland (who i bank with) and others do accept transfers from AMEX but have not accepted any application from me based on eligibility,

What can I do? Do I just have to accept the interest with AMEX and just pay it off?

I think you'll need a money transfer option for Amex, if it's a 15 digit number. However, they're harder to get.

You may need to pay it off the hard way. Visit the DFW boards for advice.

I would second this, post an SOA and more than likely have tips to save at least £100 a month off your outgoings. Use this to increase repayments and in under a year the debt is cleared, not just shifted elsewhere albeit at 0%.
