Transferring Part ISA from HL to Vanguard

    CSD are also a cut above the quality and depth of service offered by many other platforms in my experience.

    Some brokers may not be able or willing to do partial transfers.

    Rheumatoid - have you considered just moving the whole ISA to a lower cost platform that offers you a choice of Vanguard and non-Vanguard funds? Or if the non-Vanguard funds are important enough to your strategy to be worth paying a higher platform fee?

    Not something I've thought about really but on the whole i'm happy with HL and have a few of their discounted funds which to some extent offsets their fees. I guess if I did transfer I would need to sell the funds and buy again on another platform to avoid HL's punitive fund transfer fees which would be a bit of a chore but I will have a think about it.
