Combi Boiler Confusion(still!)

Hi Still new to site and not sure this is right place to post!
I posted recently about our old combi boiler which we now decided is not worth repairing after trouble finding part and being ripped off by one company.
So we now need a new one! I have read a few posts and noticed that British Gas are not very popular but after being ripped off and now lost trust we have had a quote from them for a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 28 i Junior boiler at £2,300. We felt they offered us the best deal for us and not them and compared to some posts this seems fairly reasonable??? We can pay monthly and get a guarantee servicing and no they are a reputable company...so Are we missing something or is this an ok deal?? I really would not know where to start looking for alternative quotes after bad experience and also don't have the money to pay for it in full. Any advice ideas thoughts inspiration welcome! Thank you in advance. I don't mind spending the money if its worth it!

British gas tend to charge much more than independent companies. Have you had any other quotes in from Corgi registered people?
The drawback is that independent companies will expect you to pay for the installation in one go, so you'll not get credit. But would a bank loan to cover the cost be an option.
The other thing is you mention money is short, so I'm wondering if you would qualify for help towards a new boiler under the Warmfront scheme. Usually the old boiler needs to have given up the ghost completely to qualify. Have a look here anyway. http://www.warmfront.co.ukThe bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
I've just had the same boiler fitted. Paid £2850, and had the boiler fitted, my old hot water tank removed, a new radiator fitted and 4 radiators replaced.0
