Company in Liquidation and Parking Ticket

I managed to get myself a parking ticket from CPM! in lovely Milton Keynes
But i have an interesting question and happy to let this proceed to a court claim......
Signage says pay at hotel , hotel refuses to take payment for the parking
Also the hotel itself is in some kind of voluntary liquidation and property has been sold to another company.....
Would this affect the case at all , would the parking still have a contract with the landowner.......

Do you mean the hotel/PPC contract? Surely that would be for a judge to decide.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors. Is has been suggested by an MP that some of these companies may have connections to organised crime.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, (especially Smart}, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week), hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem become so widespread that MPs agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Hopefully, this will become law by Easter .You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
"what about the contract angle?"
as above ... I presume the only way to find out is to get it to court.

Yes if the hotel is no longer in business and no new contract has been formed with the new company then would the PPC even have a contract in place to manage the land....0 -
Not appealing a judge might say you were unreasonable and although winning any case could award costs against you. Judges like paper trails.0
