Morning all. Congrats to your son Organza L Sunny and breezy here. Washing about to go out. I slept late as we babysat for DD last night.
Need to think of something to keep DH occupied today. I also want to cook something nice for dinner tonight but don't know what yet. I bought some steak for Monday when DS comes over for dinner but don't know what we are eating this weekend.
Well have a lovely day folks and hugs to all who need them."It's hard to be a diamond in a rhinestone world"0 -
Morning All
I've been for a mammoth walk this morning, a big round trip which involved the far away post office and Aldi, I was ready for my breakfast when I got in!
May go up to the allotment later to see what's going on, it's nearly that time again.
Bedding is on the line blowing happily but there's not much sun. I think it's to rain this afternoon so will get it in soon.
TA, you're amazing!
Happy Saturday, take care. XX0 -
Morning all,
I couldn't get to sleep last night and was still wide awake at 4am. Finally dropped off, but then had a lie in so on catch up today.
The bed has been stripped and the bedding in the WM, but I don't know whether to chance pegging it out or not as we are due showers.
Apparently storm Freya is on the cards for tomorrow, but we're having our own whirlwind coming for a sleep over later....... DGD :rotfl:.
This afternoon I will remake the bed and if I've got the time and energy I really need to dye my hair.
Tea tonight will be pulled pork for us and I don't know what DGD will have, she can decide when she gets here. She's a bit more astute with her food than DGS who eats just about anything and everything within arms reach :rotfl:.
Mehefin happy birthday to Mrs M. I hope you all enjoy the celebrations _party_
Have a good Saturday.
Hugs to all.

Morning! Got up fuzzy headed again, think it's the painkillers but while they're working I'm not stopping them. Put a wash on and managed to peg everything out, could have asked OH to do it but wanted to stretch arms and see how they held up. It hurt, but in a good way and I feel better because I think I've accomplished something....
Going to make myself a bacon sarnie in a minute, OH has gone out with friends, we are round another friends this evening for Chinese and birthday shennaigans, although we're all a bit older now so shennanigans is probably overstating it...We might play a board game or a music quiz...?!!
Sunny ish today and very windy so the clothes will dry quick which means I can actually get dressed
Take it easy Holly I found the same thing, but it was a toss up whether it would affect me the same day or the day after! redruby, Sister SLedge eh? Woop woop! Enjoy yourselves! Wotcha absentees....

Afternoon - I made it! The wind was rather threatening at times, the car was being buffeted a fair bit. Then the rain came, such a change after the lovely past two weeks.
My search for a duvet was successful. I was sitting waiting for JL to open this morning, went straight to the bedding section and found just what DM wanted and at half price too. Happily, she approved.
Been to W aitrose for some shopping, a cup of coffee and a read of DM's paper and then headed home.
Boats are being taken out of dry dock here, signs of Spring. And I'm getting texts from friends wanting to come to stay here and there.
I've got pea and ham soup to eat up, birds to feed, rucksack to unpack and tea to drink - busy times ahead.:rotfl:
Every day I read what others are doing - looking after two/ three grandchildren, coping with ill OHs, dealing with care homes, worrying about children etc etc and I marvel at you all. Hats off to everyone.:beer:0 -

Some times I find life with my lovely DH exhausting, but it's a million times better than being totally alone. If you walk at night no-one will see you cry.0 -
Popped back in to say we are having the Hairy Biker's Spanish chicken from their diet book for tea.Went down to Sainsbugs and got the ingredients for tonight's meal. They have an Argos in store so bought a new 3 tier metal steamer as ours has worn out. I use it a lot.
Glad you got back safely Gers
Hugs Silver oldie.

Afternoon all, it's getting quite dark here and very windy.
My washing has dried though. Think I'll get the rest in before the rain comes.
We've just come in from shopping, and I'm having a quick coffee before I start putting stuff away.
Happy Birthday to Mrs Mehefin
Thinking of you TA, you're a lovely Mum and Grandma.
See you tomorrow folks0
