today i have received a notice of enforcement from the bailiff regarding a bus lane contravention dating back 9 months ago.


its location is oxford street whitworth west to chepstow street and if i had received the pcn back 9 months ago then i would have probably paid the reduced fee and got on with my life. But the problem is that i hadnt updated my v5 with the dvla so no one had any means of contacting me until now where an enforcement agent wants the debt plus fees after tracking me down to my current address, any advice please.


what is best in my situation the bailiff has only given me 7 working days to surrender the cash and going through the tec pe2 & pe3 forms is a lengthy process, as im at fault not updating the v5 im a bit worried.

I think (though very happy to stand to be corrected) that this wouldn't have been a PCN, but a Road Traffic Act infringement.

I'm not sure on how that works - I'm pretty new, but I didn't want to read and run.

Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate) as they need to see all the small print.

PePiPoo has an excellent success record in dealing with council tickets.
