Top 10 £1k giveaway competition terms & conditions

1. The Competition is open to people aged 18 and over.
2. To enter a charity into the prize draw you must comment on the original “Top 10 £1k Giveaway” Facebook post. Tag one animal welfare charity in the comments, accompanied with one sentence explaining why the charity deserves to win a donation of £1,000.
3. Charities, and members/volunteers associated with those charities, may nominate themselves.
4. The top ten tagged charities with the most Facebook ‘tags/mentions/likes/reactions’ will each win £1,000.
5. Any tagged charities without the accompanying sentence will not be counted.
6. Any charities tagged, which are not animal welfare charities, will not be counted.
7. All entrants must use their own Facebook accounts to enter.
8. Only one entry per Facebook account is permitted in the prize draw. Animal Friends will disallow duplicate entries where it finds them.
9. All entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
10. Entry is free.
11. There is no automatic prize but posting a comment will enter the charity in to the prize draw.
12. The Competition runs from Tuesday 19th February at 09:00am until Tuesday 5th March at 17:00pm. Any ‘tags/mentions/likes/reactions’ received after this time will not be counted.
13. The top ten tagged charities with the most Facebook ‘tags/mentions/likes/reactions’ will be notified that they have won on Wednesday 6th March. They will be announced publicly on Facebook and via direct message. If a response is not received on social media, we will contact the charity via phone/email.
14. The prize is non-transferable.
15. We will respond to any questions or queries about The Competition via [EMAIL="marketing@animalfriends.co.uk"]marketing@animalfriends.co.uk[/EMAIL].
16. The list of winning charities will be made public on Facebook and will also be available upon request after the closing date by sending an email to [EMAIL="marketing@animalfriends.co.uk"]marketing@animalfriends.co.uk[/EMAIL].
17. Animal Friends reserves the right to publish the names and photos of the winning charities on our social media sites.
18. Animal Friends accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of taking part in The Competition. Animal Friends further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with The Competition. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of Animal Friends for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
19. Animal Friends reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of Animal Friends in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. Animal Friends shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
21. The Competition will be governed by English law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
22. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
