OVO (ex Economy Energy)

OVO's various communications have been inconsistent and confused in relation to the transfer from Economy Energy. Although it appears to be ill-advised to switch prior to the process being completed, OVO increased its Simpler Energy prices today by 10%.
I checked the price difference at MSE Energy Saving Club today and moving to an Octopus fixed, the price difference is £497 a year. Goodness knows whether this switch will work out or even be possible but the price differences are now huge.
Presumably, OVO has acquired from Economy Energy a client base of switchers.

I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".

I also haven't been impressed with OVO in the short time they've been my supplier (ex-EE too) - haven't had a bill yet and they've already put up the price!
I plan to wait for the first bill to see what my account is like after the mess caused by EE and then look around.

With Ovo til later this year as part of Energy Club switch at MSE. All going well for the past year and simples to send meter readings via an app that works well for me. Until our electricity meter stopped working. I'm getting the energy, but readings not increasing. That was in January so waiting for it to be fixed or replaced still.
- They cannot tell me if it will be fixed, smart meter v1 or v2
- Two appointments changed, third one, did not arrive (but did not cancel)
- Written x 2 to ask how estimation will be worked out - no reply
- Invoiced them for wasted hours of time - no response
- No new installation/repair date fixed yet.
- Told them maybe if they can't fix it, I don't pay for energy unmetered.
