Annual statement

I was always under the impression that u always had to have your yearly statement in the post and that this was the law ? I have a family member living with me who sometimes opens my mail so I generally don’t like things being posted ! Mbna seem to have updated things and it does say that the annual statement will be put online with the monthly- does this mean I won’t get it in the post now ? Has anything changed?:money:

The Law??? Really! I have had annual statements both online and posted, I don't know if your unique with yours.
Maybe contact MBNA and ask them??0 -

No, nothing's changed. The statements can still sent either by post or online.0 -

You posted a link. Exactly where in this article does it say anything about how the statement must be delivered?
I think you are making an assumption (perhaps without realising) that it's by post, but this is not stated. For example: "It will arrive on every anniversary of their application." This says nothing about how it will arrive - by post or to your inbox.
You must read what's written, not what you assume!0 -
I think the real issue here is the family member opening your post - maybe look at that little issue first?
Also that article states nothing about the method of delivery0 -
I had actually spoke to the credit card company previously about this and it does come by post - it was on all based on the article - there was other articles as well and If u go onto the forum ppl are talking about how it comes in the postLearning to keep within budgets !

People certainly do talk about how it comes in the post.
Because they often do come in the post.
But they don't have to come in the post.0 -
I want to say that I saw on their website, yesterday, that annual statements will be posted with the monthly statement from now on, rather than being sent out separately. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
