Does the difference in Miles worth £££
Hi
I am considering getting a Citroen C3 82 Flair. I have narrowed it down to 2 but the both have different price with 20K miles between them.
Which is the best option?
17 Plate - 25,000Miles = £8,500
67 Plate - 5,000Miles = £9500
Is the extra £1000 worth it?
Thank You

The difference in price is also because the 67 plate is newer than the 17 plate (and also sporting a newer plate). I will choose the 67 plate because, let's say the effect on value of the car is 3.5p/mile (I am using the excess mileage charge at https://info.citroen.co.uk/new-cars/car-range/citroen-c3/offers/personal-contract-purchase#sticky), the 20000 miles is worth £700 alone and the extra £300 is getting you the newer car and plate and extra manufacturer warranty.0

67 plates will be about 2 years old, so one has done a fairly normal mileage @ 12,500/year and the other has done a pretty low mileage @ 2500/year.
Unless I was putting a lot of miles onto it, I'd go for the 25k mile one and save the £1k.0 -
Personally I would avoid the one with potentially low milage abuse. Unless there is p[roof it has done the miles in decent runs.
It probably did very short journeys and was abused.
Expect it to cost more in the future. Get the cheaper better one.0 -

The 67 plate has 5k miles on it, so not 17k pa
The 17 plate has 25k -- so just above 12k pa - assuming registered on 1st Mar 2017
In reality, the 17 plate could be between 24-18 months old and the 67 plate between 12-18 months old -- this will make a big difference to the miles pa0 -
Have a look at both and go for the one thats in best condition0

25k on that age is high mileage for a little car. I'd wager it's an ex-hire car so check history carefully of both.0

Not necessarily true, the 67 plate will be between 12-18 months old and that will be between 3333-5000 miles per year. The OP should buy on condition, even the high mileage one could have done high mileage initially and then do 3000 miles in the last 12 months. The higher mileage car will also have more wear and tear.
On this forum now, it is always assumed the higher the mileage the better. Nothing wrong with doing 5000 miles in a year (especially in a petrol car) and nothing better about doing 18000 miles in a year - it depends on how that mileage was done.
The OP's question is is the higher mileage worth the 1000GBP "assuming all other things being equal".0
