Snap - think they’re sending them to us all as another “ frightener” !
As at first quick read , they infer that you haven’t responded to the County Court claim !
Quick check on MCOL that AoS successful submitted and will be defended in full !
Jog on BWLEGAL and UKPPO! 🤣0 -

Jog on BWLEGAL and UKPPO! 🤣Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

why , have they ACTUALLY taken you to court yet , have you lost in court , have you refused to pay within 28 days of court hearing
NO , thought not , they can only get a CCJ after the above0 -

Yet more scare mongering. If they were that confident in their case then why resort to outright lies.
People often misunderstand and think a CCJ is registered when a County Court passes their judgement. When in fact it is only when a judgement is not satisfied, i.e. settled within 28 days if found against you.0 -
All part of the totally automated process. There's no human involvement at this stage.
That's unfortunate as the only case I have ever advised upon that was at the final stage of court, that was the last throw of the dice before they never paid a £25 hearing fee. Ultimately just dropped it. That was scheduled for a group hearing.0 -

It's at the final stages that one of their case handlers get involved, before that it's a reliance on primarily template responses, maybe a bit of topping and tailing on specifics.
ROBOCLAIMS - HOW BWL OPERATE
My take on how BWL operate - as I have surmised from the hundreds of different threads I've read involving BWL.
Other than the auto acknowledgements and template letters, you will get nothing sensible from BWL - they are dealing with literally hundreds of thousands of unpaid parking charges and are spewing out various threatening letters, using a conveyor belt approach to go through a computer controlled process towards a LBC, and a MCOL Claim - and it is really only at the final stages, as a court hearing becomes a possibility, that there's any real human intervention.
We're not dealing with an old fashioned firm of solicitors, just progressing from a quill and ink operation, BWL are industrial harvesters of debt, using the equivalent of massive combine harvesters to do their work. This is what their website tells you:A multi-award winning law firm specialising in volume collections, across both regulated and unregulated sectors, who are dual regulated through the FCA and SRA.
We employ around 265 people at our Leeds based office which in turn makes us the largest privately owned debt collection law firm in the UK.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I have been going back over the details of their crappy case against @Darren1089. It was that long ago i had forgotten so many points that are really terribly poor. Forgive me if i go over old ground but there might be something that hasnt been covered.
Just need to set up the thing to add pictures.
Had also forgotten how awkward that was.0
