My daughters pass was automatically renewed, which i wasn't expecting. Hers was due to run out at the end of this month. I was getting ready to renew it and then then it came in the post. Totally unexpected.0

As its my first renewal, I am unsure. Sent medical evidence few weeks ago. I give council a call next week.0 -
It was my daughters first renewal too. Maybe it's automatically renewed because of her learning disability, i don't know.tazwhoever wrote: »As its my first renewal, I am unsure. Sent medical evidence few weeks ago. I give council a call next week.
Her freedom pass was automatically accepted before i even applied, as the learning disabilities team sent them a letter saying she's got a learning disability which automatically qualified her. I still had to fill out an application form and send a picture to them. Other than that it was very straight forward. I really was surprised to see the new pass yesterday.
Hopefully you'll receive yours soon.0 -
I have a learning disability. I have had a pass since 2010. On my last renewal I received a form in the post a couple weeks before my old one ended, filled it in and got my LD community nurse to sign it. I only ticked the LD box.. Its very simple to get a bus pass if you have a learning disability, just not companion only if you have a severe learning disability. I know people with ASD can find it more accpeted getting accepted. Most local authorities say most people with ASD don't meet the bus pass criteria.0
