After an issue with a survey our buyer has been advised to get an engineers report done on our house. How long do these actually take and what's involved?
My OH or I always like to be there when a survey's done (find it quite interesting :rotfl: ) - although it's getting a bit stressful now.

When I had to get an engineers report I had to phone them & then they had to send me a letter which I had to sign & send back saying I accepted their terms & conditions. The guy then rang me & I had an appointment within a week or so after that. It depends on what the survey is actually for as to whats involved but my report was pretty detailed (photographs, measurements etc)0
