Barclaycard made a mistake!

Hi all,
Just wondering if anybody has had a similar experience. I went through a middleman who checked across the board for me and my search came back with nothing. This was last year.
Just a few days ago I received a letter from Barclaycard saying that a mistake had been made and there was PPI showing from 1997 across a number of different cards that were all linked to Barclaycard.
On my behalf, they have raised a complaint and are now dealing with my claim. I had to complete a form they enclosed but it was nothing arduous.
Has this happened to anybody else?

Yes. It is frequently mentioned on this site. Barclays have been putting old archived data back onto their systems and where they find someone has complained previously, they will reopen the complaint.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
