Good Online Suppliers
Options
I am looking to buy various fruit and veg plants such as asparagus, raspberry canes and some fruit trees. Are there any online suppliers that are generally considered good value for money and decent quality?
I have used one online company years ago and was very disappointed with the quality.
In terms of asparagus I probably want about 30 crowns, are Wilko on the high st as good as anywhere or are you better buying from specialist places?

Can't say about Wilko, but if you do buy from there have a good look at the pack, after a while in the shop heat all you get is dried out roots, applies to all their stock, not just asparagus
For fruit trees I use Blackmoor, in fact I've got an apple on order at the moment
I've had good results from Ken Muir as well
But no complaints from me about the Lild / Asda apple trees either, but you do have to use your judgement and avoid the half dead sticksEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
I was looking at Blackmoor Farway so its good to hear you use them. Interesting what you say about lidl as I was going to avoid lidl/aldi for trees but I have no idea why! Their food is good quality so no reason to think the trees etc aren't any good.0

We put in an Aldi apple tree when we bought the house, five years on and it's very cheerful (if not overly productive)0
