in Credit cards
Hello everyone,
I really need some help and hope you have the time to respond to me.
I have been traveling since December 2016 but also working part time, online as an English teacher for a Chinese company. (Currently living in the Philippines).
I took out a virgin media credit card before i left, I've always paid the minimum repayment on time and the 0% is going to finish in May 2019.
I need to do a balance transfer for 3,500 pounds and i'm worried about being rejected for this and get a bad credit score.
I am a homeowner in the UK and have family living in my house and paying all of the bills and mortgage.
I will be coming back to the UK in May 2019 and staying for 6 months or more. Can you tell me, is it possible to apply for a credit card now and do a balance transfer?
Thank you so much for your time, i hope there is some advise you can give me.
Kind regards,
Kerryann

You'll need a UK residency address.
Any application will simply appear as a search - in itself, nothing to worry about. Any change in the score is irrelevant.0 -
Thank you for your response.
I am still registered at my address and all of the direct debits go from my account but i don't have proof of my income.
I applied for a barclaycard as that's who i have always banked with but i've not heard back.
Should i just start applying to any balance transfer cards and put myself down as part time or self employed?0
