Insurance quote suddenly went down?

So I just passed a few weeks ago, I put myself as the main policyholder, both parents are drivers. When looking for insurance with direct line I usually get a quote of around £1700-1900 it varies. I just done a quote now and all of a sudden it gave me a quote of £1240. So shocked!!!! Is this legit? How has it gone down all of a sudden so much?

I would grab it with both hands before they change their minds. :)
  • But aren’t insurance quotes valid for 30 days so technically they have to respect the price given? Or do they have the right to change their minds and increase it back up

Some say their quotes are valid for x days.....some not. As you have discovered insurance pricing is dynamic and can go either way.

Some quotes are only valid for the time the quote window is open. Close the window and quotes are all new.
