Laminating flooring: advice

Can someone give me an advice.

We have thru loung, our dinning room is slightly lower then living room. So we had to raise the dinning by putting additional wood plus 2 layers of underlyers. But now becuase the dinning room floor raised there is 1" drop going into kitchen floor. Unless we raise kitchen floor the joint between dining room and kitchen is impossible to get perfect finsih.

We were not intending to replace flooring in kicthen as we can not afford yet, was wondering how we can temproarly complete the edge between dinning room and the kitchen.

  • You can actually buy an end moulding which whould do the job. Basically its an L shape which you can buy from the same place you bought the laminate from, they also do them in aluminium or anodised brass, and again, basically the stick on the edge of the laminate and drop down to give a neat finish.
:confused:I have nothing better to do!!!!
