Window order - reasonable delay?!

Hi, we placed a large order with a window company, paying 50% deposit (over £13000!!) in September. We are still waiting for our windows to be installed. The window company have been poor at keeping us updated with the progress of the order and have been very defensive when we have complained about the wait. We were advised that lead time would be approx 14 weeks from when our funds cleared and specification was agreed. We have now been told that they are held up (yet again) as they are delayed on a previous job. The provisional date they have now given us to start installation is a full 6 months since our deposit cleared. There is a clause in the contract which states ‘6.2.Any dates quoted for delivery of the Goods are approximate only and the Company shall not be liable for any early or late delivery of the Goods however caused.’
Is this a reasonable delay? We have lost all faith in the company and would actually now rather cancel our order and restart the process with another company. Obviously we do NOT want to loose our large deposit! Is there anything we can do? Any advice would be great!
Thanks

Demand goods are delivered to address if it’s an overrunning job hat is causing the delay.0

They have confirmed that they have received our windows and have everything at their yard. It’s the installation which is delayed, but makes no difference to us as we are still without the windows! I really want nothing more to do with them as they have been so poor, but I can’t walk away as they have so much of our money!0

You can’t just do that though, as they have ordered a (presumably large) quantity of windows made bespoke for your house.
If you want to walk away fine, but be resigned to the fact you have already bought the windows - you next best bet is to ask for a supply only price, and get another installer.0
