Parking Charge Notice misspelled my Reg?

Hi All,
So I had a PCN come through from SIP Parking who I assume is private parking. Anyway I had a parking ticket today but they misspelled my Reg by one letter "c" instead of "g".
Do I still need to pay this? I have 24 hours to pay £35 or shoot up to £100 max.
(Sorry for double post. Not sure how to delete the old one).

you cut SIP off at the pass , you appeal as keeper quoting reg no on ticket and number before they contact the DVLA
others will add , but please read the newbies thread0 -
Is this a windscreen ticket or have you had something through the post?0

Agreed it's not at all clear if this is a windscreen or postal ticket.
One other thing you aren't in Scotland are you Zelnaga? Might as well ask now.0 -
Hi sorry yeah this was on my windscreen in Nottingham0

Can they retrospectively change the license to the correct one after issuing me with a PCN (windscreen).
Worried if I call they might just change it themselves on the spot.
Sorry I tried looking at the newbie thread but nothing came up to match my situation0 -

They make the "rules" up as they go along so it could happen. In saying that personally I would wait and see if you get an NTK. That's assuming you are the registered keeper on the V5c0 -
Yeah they will put it right before NTK stage I expect. But do as advised already:you cut SIP off at the pass , you appeal as keeper quoting reg no on ticket and number before they contact the DVLAPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

if you appeal now with the KEEPERS name and address using the reg no and the ticket number they will try to save money by not contacting the DVLA for details
then when it kicks off they have wrong car , and have not accessed dvla database
if you leave appeal to later they will send out a NTK , technically wrong as it will not match the ticket on car
they are supposed to ask for details between days 29 and 56 , however they can go to dvla for upto 6 mths
in this case appeal now not later0 -

This is a great option. Probably easier for a Newbie than my thinking.0
