My home insurance was up for renewal, and following MSE's advice, I did my shopping around using Confused.com.
I got a better deal, saving £10 a month (saving up to be able to pay the next lot all in one go
), AND discovered I have been playing for an old policy still!
So, silly me, but I'm getting £150 back off tesco, whch is a very nice surprise. And a lesson in checking, checking, checking that your cover is what you need. And not for a house you lived in 4 years ago...

i would agree on checking the cover of your insurance, well done for saving the money..... I too did a bit of checking around and ended up with better insurance for less...... it does pay to shop around...
