Low Oil Pressure
Ive got a 14 plate Insignia thats showing low oil pressure on the dashboard. I took it to a garage a few weeks ago and they said it was either it needed a software update or a new oil pressure sensor. They also tested the oil pressure and said the pressure was ok. I had both done at a cost of nearly £300.
The warning didnt appear for 2 days but then it started showing up again. Ive just taken it to another garage and theyve run a diagnostic on the car and its flagged up faulty oil pressure sensor again plus a faulty fuel rail sensor.
What are my rights regarding the 1st garage about getting a refund?
Also im in some Insignia groups on facebook and apparently its a common problem and the cause of it is a faulty oil seal on the sump, but when i mentioned this to the 1st garage they said that it wasnt the problem it was the sensor.

Take it back to the first garage and tell them it didn't fix the problem so can they now fix it or give you a refund as you've spent £300 with them for apparently nothing.0
