MSE Compare Enrgy - Utilita > Robin Hood Energy - VERY CONFUSED
Options
Hi,
We got an email to say our energy would be cheapest and we would save £182 via Robin Hood Energy for Dual Switch over.
Today we got a letter from Utilita saying what our exact usage is
Gas
Gas Provider: Utilita
Gas Tariff: Smart Energy
Gas usage: 10368 kWh per Year
Tariff end date: None
Electricity
Elec Provider: Utilita
Elec Tariff: Smart Energy
Elec usage: 6352 kWh per Year
Tariff end date: None
Now the MSE Compare said:

Robin Hood Website says with exact same usage figures ...am I missing something as I thought I could trust the MSE Calculator with Martin's name to it....

Thank you in advance..........:money:

I can't answer your specific question, but I have the dreadful experience of being a customer of Robin Hood Energy two years ago. My advice is to avoid them like the plague. The most incompetent and unhelpful company I've ever dealt with.0

Look at the tariff information on Cheap Energy Club, it may be a different tariff to that shown on Robin Hood's website. I'd take the Robin Hood website as being more realistic. If you view all the tariffs that have been offered by Robin Hood, there are almost too many to count, so it appears they change them frequently.
I can only see one PAYG tariff though, and that would cost you more, so where CEC are getting their figures from is a mystery.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. Sales people can make errors (either deliberately, or not).
When I do a compare, I then check the figures on the new prospective energy supplier's website, to make sure the figures are correct.0
