Indigo Parking fine @ Station

Hi,

Last year (2018) i parked in the train station car park near me - i work in London so i usually have to do this.

I couldn't purchase my ticket on my mobile app it kept refusing me to log in.. each time it done this i screen shot this issue, i then went into the main website on my laptop and phone but the issue remained... anyway around 4:30 pm i finally get in to the mobile app and purchase my weekly ticket which runs from 00:00 am that day to 23:59 pm the following week.

of course i get to my car i get a ticket -thinking my ticket was valid i go on their website and appeal this and they reject it saying i didn't purchase a ticket in time even tho i provided the evidence of the fault app and website on that day and my weekly ticket which was actually valid. weeks went on and i didn't get a reply, then i got a really crappy email, which followed by a letter through the post saying i have to pay it or debt collectors will be involved etc.

What can i do about this? as i refuse to pay the £100 when my ticket was actually valid from 00:00 am that day - so surely it doesn't matter what time the ticket is purchased as long as you purchase on that day.

Kind Regards

Ignore them and let it time out (after 6 months the case can't be pursued in court, if the charge was called a 'penalty' which we know Indigo do).

Not the same for parking charge notices issued on railway land, but Indigo issue 'penalties' so are stuck after 6 months, and also we know from their contract with the train operator that they can't start court proceedings.

They are not authorised to do anything except send letters (big deal)!

Same as all the other Indigo railway cases you care to search for and read.

I suggest you send an email to the FORUM TEAM, urgently asking to change your username to something generic, if that is your name...?

No ID-ing your full name on here for a parking firm to read and single you out!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I’ve emailed to her my name changed. I can’t seem to do it in my own settings.
