Really sorry, I've been trying all kinds of different ways of searching but still can't find anything about late submission of my WS and evidence bundle. I assume I just take it into the court, apologise and hope they accept it?
You do not apologise.
Just get on with it as if it were in time, don't draw attention to your tardiness.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for all the advice and guidance from this forum. Gladstones turned up with a shoddy "cut & paste" (Judge's words!) case with insufficient and inaccurate evidence. Their rep admitted he was unable to speak on any specifics, as he didn't know the site itself; could only verbalise what was written in their WS!
Judge recognised there were several aspects to my defence, but pared it down specifically to sparse and unclear signage. Claim dismissed, Gladstones to pay my travel and parking (!) costs (judge declined to consider my schedule of costs for my time, and I was happy not to push that, in light of being saved £270+ ).
Thanks folks, definitely couldn't have done this without you!
