PPS ticket advise needed please

Hi all,
I have been reading through the forum now for a couple hours now and I am struggling to find a similar case.
I recived a window ticket yesterday morning at 08:08 am, I've just moved In with my girlfriend into her family home and I parked on a small section of land out side her home, it was 11pm when I arrived there after finishing work and i did not see the signs as it was dark but there are 2/3 visible signs on a low wall in day light.
The parking is terrible in the area from and from what I can tell a home owner has PPC (ipc registered firm) operating this 2x4 metre area out side there home draining money from there neighbours.
A small twist on this story I also recived a abusive note on my wind screen from the land over not sure if it's relevant but thought I would add.
From reading the noob post I'm assuming I hang tight and wait for them to contact me?
Thanks :money:

Welcome.
You need to read the NEWBIES thread thoroughly. That will tell you what to do in respect of appeals and what typically happens next.
You might find it useful in the future to take photos of the signs at the same time of day and email them to yourself. If you did that today, it would be a good representation of how poor the signs were. The reason I say that is that PPS do take people to court, and if the signage was pooe/unreadable etc, then you will be able to rely on that.
Anyway, main thing is don't panic, and read the NEWBIES thread.Natwest OD - Start: £1,500 Current: £1,500 | Creation Loan - Start: £2,152.33 Current: £2,082.90 | Barclaycard CC - Start: £5,242.42 Current: £5,416.45 | Novuna Loan - Start: £8,598.43 Current: £8,366.04 | Tesco CC - Start: £9,420.22 Current: £9,885 | Northridge Car - Start: £15,584 Current: £15,017

Who is the parking scammer? no issue in naming them here although you could do with editing your post to remove all possibility of driver being identified, you say 'The driver' or 'The keeper' etc.
There's good reason for not identifying driver and the more you read the better understanding you will have of this helpful part of dealing with parking scum.
Home owner sounds like a nice piece of work although without having more details I cannot say whether they are right or wrong to operate in this manner. Doesn't actually look good though if I'm forced to pass opinion, only A MORON would employ a parking scammer with their dirty tactics but hey ho.
Your probably in the 'hang tight' area although once you've posted a bit more info more experienced regulars will be able to advise more.0 -

Who is the PPC ?
The signs are very important and you should take pictures as the motorist would see them.
Given the times this happened and a further note, I suspect you have a traitor as a neighbour. Meaning the PPC pays commission to a self ticketer You need to watch what happens
Assume this is a lease property, if so your girlfriend needs to find out what are the provisions for parking0 -
Thank you for that advise I will take some pictures when I leave for work and when I return, I have read the newbie post as far as I can tell there is no point appealing a IPC registered firm so I was just confirming my current stage is to sit tight.
The company is called PPS after talking with some neighbours the land owner prays on people parking there as it looks like a part of a foot path were alot of other cars park on then harrased them with notes on there wind screens.
Im also in unable to edit my first post but will heed advise given regarding driver identity, thank you fir the fast responce. 0 -
Sorry the company is called PPS I'm u able to go back and edit.
It's quite hard to describe how the street is set but I confirmed it with her parents the neighbour owns that slab on concrete / foot path. It's a perfect money trap.0 -
Is it PPS as in Premier Parking Solutions in Newton Abbot?
Appeal to them using the template, but if it is PPS (as in Premier Parking Solutions Ltd), but no point in appealling further when you inevitably lose (nothing to do with the merit of your claim, it's just the way they are).Natwest OD - Start: £1,500 Current: £1,500 | Creation Loan - Start: £2,152.33 Current: £2,082.90 | Barclaycard CC - Start: £5,242.42 Current: £5,416.45 | Novuna Loan - Start: £8,598.43 Current: £8,366.04 | Tesco CC - Start: £9,420.22 Current: £9,885 | Northridge Car - Start: £15,584 Current: £15,017

You CERTAINLY edit every post you make, just like we can. there is an edit button under every post you make...
...unless you are on a phone...arrrrgghh, why would anyone ever look at this huge and detailed forum full of info and links, on a tiny little phone?! Get on a PC or laptop, to edit posts and read the NEWBIES thread.
No-one says not to appeal, only that appeal won't work. Read the sticky thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -

Guess the land owner is your culprit. The PPS site shows an example of their magic .... http://pps.uk.com/pay-and-display.html
It has already proved to be a great income stream for our clients.
If it is the land owner working on a commission basis, he will not be employed by PPS and is passing data to a third party0
