Financial Service Compensation Scheme

I know some banks share the Financial Services Protection Compensation of £85,000 with other banks eg Halifax and Bank of Scotland but it is difficult to know which ones are related. Can anyone supply a list of the connected banks? Just the more popular ones would be a help. Thanks.
