Hi All,

The latest Chat Wordsearch (I think it was that!) came into work today (I work in a newsagents but for some reason it never clicked to look at the puzzle book comps) so I'll have a go when I'm bored on Sunday and work out some of the answers if I can!

Excellent thread though, just baffled as to how I'd never seen it before!

Hi buses7675, it took me a while to get into this thread, I kept looking at it & thinking oh no that looks far too complicated. Then I sat down one Saturday afternoon had a good old read through & started to understand it

Sounds great if you can look at some puzzler mags, just for goodness sakes don't get into trouble! If a customer bought a partially completed one, not sure they would always be happy

lol, thats okay - was thinking of just taking some notes as to what the competition page was, maybe even take a good quality phone pic of the pages!

Strangely too, we barely ever sell the puzzle books, we tend to get three of every type, of which two are returned to the wholesaler straight away (they are reluctant to just reduce the order to 1!) and the others all go on a nice shelf just for puzzle books and the majority just go back a month or so later.

I have just realised what a dimwit I have been, where it says "answer here" in the original post, I put the answer "here" into puzzler, no wonder I haven't won anything.

I could blame it on pregant brain, but I am not sure I can use that excuse 6 months on........

If you work in a newsagent you should also check out the postal comps thread, I put the GoodHouseKeeping winning numbers in there so you can check through the magazines you have and if you find a winning one buy it

Sorry but I'm sitting here laughing! You can blame it on having a 6mth old, they are much worse than pg brain!!

Ps I try and use the right answers and don't win either!! :rotfl:
