The Yorkshire Vet Series 8 – Competition 1

1) The prize comprises:

1. Standard class return rail travel for four from UK mainland station nearest to the prize winner’s home address to Scarborough in Yorkshire, unless the winner’s home address is in Northern Ireland, in which case, the prize will include return economy class flights and transfers to the property;
2. Return private transfers for four between Scarborough train station and Newlands Farmhouse (nr Cloughton, 5 miles from Scarborough);
3. Seven (7) nights’ accommodation for four at Newlands Farmhouse, sharing 4 bedrooms (subject to availability);
4. Welcome hamper on arrival including Yorkshire Tea bags, drums of Yorkshire Crisps, Yorkshire Parkin, fresh bread, biscuits and cakes, Yorkshire-made chutney and fresh milk;
5. A 1 hour 45 minute (approx.) boat trip for four from Scarborough (runs from April to October)
6. 4 x Tickets for Scarborough SEA LIFE Sanctuary; and
7. £500 spending money.

2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3) The prize must be taken by 20th December 2019 and cannot be taken over Easter weekend (19th April 2019 to 22nd April 2019), UK Bank Holidays (6th May 2019; 27th May 2019; 26th August 2019) or from 15th July 2019 to 6th September 2019.
4) Should the prize winner prefer to drive themselves a mileage allowance up to the value of £200 will be offered and the rail allowance and taxi transfers will be forfeited. The allowance will be calculated at 45p per mile from the prize winner’s home address to Newlands Farmhouse.
5) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the farmhouse. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the farmhouse for security deposit purposes. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure that they and/or their companions adhere to the local laws in the UK.
6) The prize excludes transfers between the winner’s home and the train station/airport, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
7) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.
8) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability. Neither Channel 5 nor Element will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.
9) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
10) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
11) A cheque for the spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
12) Video footage and images provided by Yorkshire Coastal Cottages.
13) The Prize Provider of the trip to Newlands Farmhouse in Yorkshire is Element London Limited, 5 Morie Street, London SW18 1SL.
