Eon - forced to move tariff
I received a letter from Eon today stating that my tariff did not come to an end when it should have and they will switch me in 2 months to their SVR.
The letter is genuine ie my account number, address etc.
It's a bit annoying as i hate the switching etc every year which is why i selected this tariff in the first place.
Any ideas if i can stay on this tariff? And yes i will be calling Eon, just wanted to gauge peoples thoughts first.
Thanks!

Oh yeah, and anybody know a decent supplier or best tariff that does Economy 7 just in case?!0

From what I can see this was a tariff offered in 2011, and should have lasted for 12 months. It gave a discount off the standard variable tariff. Would seem to have been a glitch if you have continued to have that discount for 7 years?
Suggest you go on some comparison sites with your annual consumption and look for the best E7 options.0 -
Yes, we took out the tariff in 2012.0

In April the SVT will increase by about 10% due to the change in price cap, so use March to look at some comparison sites for a new deal. You won't find your tariff listed, so you'll have to use the SVT, and ignore the projected savings. Good luck0

Hello Ivrytwr3 and I can confirm you won't be able to stay on the Saveonline 10 tariff.
As PeterGr says, Saveonline 10 was a tariff we offered around 7 years ago. It was a 12 month fixed deal with very favourable prices compared to what we have available today. We should've moved you off this tariff around 6 years ago and it seems a computer glitch meant this didn't happen.
I'd follow PeterGr's advice and pop your usage in kWh on to the Price Comparison sites. These will show you what's available with both us and the other suppliers. Time a move to another tariff/supplier as close as possible to the end date we've given you. This will let you continue to take advantage of these favourable prices for the maximum amount of time.
