You can ask but probably wont tell you the real reason - report back.0 -
Talked to Skipton this morning, they said they can not see the reason, they happy to provide data and info they have for us. But still no reason, and decision is final.
Any idea? Requested Cifas and National hunters, no idea how will take. If there is anything there, won’t it show on credit file? My equifax file showed cifas checked me twice during last 2 months, but nothing appear. Passed credit check.
Could anyone think about any other reason?1 -
I think it may be worth checking the other 2 CRAs (Experian and Callcredit) files too, just in case something is showing on them but not on Equifax. Not all lenders update all CRAs.0

Skipton is Call Credit only, going back to the time it owned Call Credit, or whatever it's called now so that would be an idea (use Noddle!).I am a mortgage broker. Hi all
Nothing on Experian as well.
Spoke to a broker just now, he said is the salary jump too high, from 30k to 100k, and 30k to 80k for my partner. And lender think we doing this for mortgage purpose. Could that be the reason?
But if we get 3 months payslips and apply, what will happen? Nothing wrong here, we will be paying much more because we move to London, a big market , and is for the company, they happy to pay much more.
Also been told, after the full app been sent, all lender will be able to see documents in the portal, and no one will lend, is that ture? What can we do?0 -
National Hunter stores application data and compares it so any variations can be detected.
If you were earning £x two months ago and £y now, a Hunter alert may have been triggered.I am a mortgage broker.
