Application declined!!Strange Thing Happened!!

Hello all, please help and advise!!
Applied mortgage, everything was fine, gave all documents, broker was positive.
Just been told its been declined by Skipton today, and according to broker, is an audit been done and they decided to decline, but they won't share the information with anyone, me or the broker, also they told broker, do not send this application to any other lender, 'don't touch it', broker said he can't do anything.
me and my partner both working, and our problem are, our salary will go up next month, it will be a big jump because we moving to London, with same company. So we gave contract from employee, confirm new salary, but payslips is showing current salary. thats what skipton accepted.
Partner's company changed company name and address yesterday, would that be the reason? will they think anything happening like Mortgage Fraud? When they say don't touch it to broker, really makes us worrying a lot.

Was the broker a whole of market?
I do not think that a lender can enforce the broker not to go to another lender, unless the broker was employed by skipton.0 -
I think skipton own the broker's company.0

They weren't a whole of market broker - your better off finding one of them.0 -
Thank you for the advise, but do you what do you think about the reason for decline?0

You should do subject access request to National Hunter before doing anything else;-

Thanks, kingstreet, what should I do if there is anything against me?0

Is there any material fact that you failed to disclose, even unintentionnally?
Have you ever been declined when making an application for credit or a loan previously?
Do any of your mortgage application details differ to anything you've previously stated on a prior application?0 -
Hi Thrugelmir
we provided all documents they asked, they also asked for more information, 2 direct debits, and all explained, they were happy about that.
I have recently opened a bank account and upgraded to premium account, credit should be fine, but declined by EE a few months ago somehow.
I have never applied mortgage, this is first time for me, my partner has a mortgage on our current house. but everything she provided was fine too.
only thing we now worried about is the company she is working for, changed the company address and name on company house yesterday, we got declined today, will that be a matter, the company number is same, only the name and address. As mentioned, we provided a contract, and shows the salary will increase, that was based on old name and address.0 -
Under GDPR rules you should be able to request ALL data that they hold regarding you. Both for Skiptons and the broker. Your partner will likely need to make a seperate request. You may have to make the request in writing if they want to make life difficult for you and they have 30 days to provide the information.0

Do you mind tell me What should I write to them?0
