Will I have to pay the bill if I get it?

I have switched away from Economy Energy and two weeks later it has collapsed.
I never got a final bill either from them or from or Ovo who have taken over.
Now the question is, if there was any balance outstanding (Which I have no clue if there was or wasn't) can Ovo ask for this money, bearing in mind I never was their customer and never owed anything to them?

if you owe money to EE then yes you are liable for it.
And it will be the administrators of EE coming for the money you owe as it is a legal debt and it is their duty to collect it.0 -
Yes as you owe any debt to either the administrators of Economy Energy or Ovo who inherited the business. It is a perfectly legal and enforceable debt. I assume you will be OK if they keep any credit balance which under normal company insolvency would be gone ?0
