I've had a really stubborn oily fingerprint on my iPhone 8 which I couldn't clean off. Tried microfibre, tried a hot damp cloth with a touch of soap etc - nothing.
Now i've bit the bullet and bought the iKlear stuff. A little spray on the grey cloth, a quick rub on the screen and the mark has gone. I'm so chuffed.
I thought it was all hype so am doubly chuffed!

Or you could get the £1.29 cloth and spray from the opticians.
Or just plain water and a microfibre cloth. Yes its hype and seriously overpriced for what you get.
Check the ingredients, 99.1% water and Methyl Paraben which prevents mould growth in water.
You paid how much for water?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Diluted rubbing alcohol or another UK name isopropyl alcoho. I use it to clean my windows and car windscreen and other jobs where you want a grease free finish0

What a ridiculous way to look at things. That's like claiming a bottle of wine is 90% water so you shouldn't pay for it. You're not paying for the water, you're paying for the other contents.0 -

Thanks! Can't understand the keyboard warriors having to pick apart posts or views.
I tried all the recommended cheap remedies which didn't work - and then found that the least MSE solution worked. No wars needed.
Just my view, just my experience and just my pleasure. No-one has to agree, no-one needs to have a go.0
