Screeding

I'm buying a new build and looking to get the flooring done once I get the keys instead of the developers contractors doing it.
Does anyone know if the houses come screeded or will I have to do this once the house is handed over to me?
I could ask the developer, but thought I'd come here first, thanks in advance!

You'll have a bare concrete floor. Finished to building regs standard.
What floors are you talking about putting down?
Really you need to see what you end up with. There are differing standards.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

You will need to latex as the screed will not be good enough for the flooring you have chosen0

I would wait to see what you get, then invite your Karndean fitter to inspect the floor. Take their advice on whether a screed is needed, and pay them to fit it. That way they underwrite the result and if the Karndean doesn't sit down properly on the floor, you have some recourse. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0
