Hello, first time poster, long term reader.
I am currently in a parking dispute with Armtrac & BW Legal.
My dispute has slowly escalated over the last 12 months, it's at the point where I've received a Letter of Claim.
I want to issue a SAR to Armtrac but I'm acting on behalf of a limited company (which the vehicle is registered to).
As a business rather than an individual, can I still request information?
Many thanks to all who contribute to this forum :T

As the limited company is the vehicle keeper I don't see why such a request cannot be made, although a person such as a company director or member of the legal department (if there is one) makes the request, stating of course they were not the driver.I married my cousin. We have seem a few scammers ask a £10 payment for this sort of request, but the ICO has stated that it is unreasonable unless the case is complex. A simple parking charge is not one of these.
Normally the requester should be expected to supply proof of ID, but asking the requester for photo ID is unreasonable according to the ICO. I think the requester in your case will need to prove they are a senior employee of the company.I married my cousin. SAR's relate to a living person.
It must be the individual to whom the information relates making the requestPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0 -
