Help - Anyone seen an external phone line with 3 inner yellow cables?

Accidently cut my external line and not sure whether the 3 yellow cables are normal as I can't find a diagram anywhere?

And they hurt if you stab your fingers on the ends. That's why there's a little black sleeve to go over the end of the cable with only the telephone pair pointing out.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
