That's great, thank you. It looks really nice, hopefully would make a nice short hedge. I don't need it to be too thick anyway.

Probably better than a euonymus that will take 20 years to grow. 🙂

euonymus does grow quite quickly and does make quite a good compact short hedge. Griselinia is a lovely shrub ..a nice green, not ideal as a short hedge though but depends what you call short?!

Something between 0.5m and 1m.

Pushing it at half a metre I think But 1m + is good. You may have to keep on top of it. Worth the effort though

Is that for the griselinia? It looks lovely outside the house where i took the picture. Light green leaves, interesting texture. I dont want a thick hedge, more to create another level of interest (and hide the iron railings i have)

I also like golden privet.

Yes sorry I meant for the griselinia. It will be brilliant against railings as will the privet. Sounds stunning!
